The Costa Blanca
The beautiful coast of the Costa Blanca goes from Denia In the north to gape Gata in the South. The coastline is approximately 500 km and she includes the provinces Alicante, Murcia, Valencia and a part of Almeria.

Underwater visibility varies with the weather conditions, usually averaging 5  to 30 metres  with comfortable water temperatures from 12° February to 28° Celsius in the summer, the weather in this region allows diving the whole year round.

Summer on the Costa Blanca
The weather in summer on the Costa Blanca is typically very hot with little to no rainfall. Summer temperatures in most Costa Blanca towns will mostly be between 25 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius during the day. Temperatures on the Costa Blanca rarely drop below 15 degrees Celsius.
In August the weather on the Costa Blanca can be almost unbearably hot with some days reaching 40 degrees Celsius or more. Fortunately if you are on the Costa Blanca coast you will most likely have cooling sea breezes. Because the humidity is low you won't feel the temperature is as high as it really is.
Winter on the Costa Blanca
The weather on the Costa Blanca in winter is very mild compared to northern Europe. Most winter days will be clear and sunny. Even in the winter it doesn't rain much on the Costa Blanca with November being the wettest month. The exception is when the Costa Blanca experiences a 'Gota Fria' - this happens when the temperature suddenly drops resulting in incredible torrential rain and flooding to many areas of the Costa Blanca.

The World Health Organisation describes the climate of the Costa Blanca as one of being the best in the world. The summers are hot but not too hot due to the cooling breezes and the winters are mild with many clear blue sunny days. The Costa Blanca climate and weather is very healthy especially for sufferers of arthritis.
