Do you want to spend more time underwater? The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it’s easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox rather than normal breathing air gives you more no-decompression dive time. This means more time underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. Maximize your time with the upgraded PADI Enriched Air Diver course. Enriched Air Diving saves you time by allowing you to stay underwater longer and/or get back into the water sooner. Plus, by diving with Enriched Air you may feel less tired after your dives
How much longer can i stay underwater? A dive with normal air to 15 metres/50 feet gives you a no decompression limit of 80 minutes, while a dive with EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time. This is an increase of 140 minutes! It's perfect for underwater photographers, wreck divers and anyone who wants to stay down longer. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty
The Course The PADI Nitrox Specialty course is designed to teach recreational divers to use enriched air (nitrox), for fun, safe, no-stop recreational diving. The course addresses the use of enriched air with 22-40% oxygen, with emphasis on the enriched air of 32% & 36%. During your Nitrox course you wil learn techniques for getting more dive time by using enriched air nitrox, enriched air scuba diving equipment considerations, enriched air considerations, including managing oxygen exposure and how to tell what’s in your scuba tank. You will also learn and become confident planning your dives using a dive computer. We will take you through the actual process of obtaining a Nitrox fill, with you personally using the oxygen analyser to determine the oxygen content in your fill.
Course Content The course consists of knowledge development, practical applications & 2 optional open water dives
Knowledge Development Knowledge Development is based on a self-study method, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Home study is backed up by an academic session with a PADI Instructor, to ensure full understanding of enriched air theory. Optional Open Water Training: two optional dives in the Mediterranean on the Costa Blanca over one day and you can get your certification while simultaneously completing dives for other PADI courses Prerequisites: PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent certification) Minimum age: 15 years old
